About Honeysuckle Cottage.

Set on a small working farm and situated in the heart of rural Somerset the cottage, which originally was the old stone barn, offers luxury self catering facilities in an idyllic peaceful setting.

Centrally heated throughout, the cottage has three bedrooms – two doubles and a single (each with TV and one with en-suite facilities), looking out over the rolling Mendip hills and surrounding countryside.

The spacious dining/living room maintains a cosy and homely feel, with log burning stove and old oak beams but is equipped with free Wi-Fi for those who feel the need to stay in touch.

The cottage has a modern kitchen equipped with double oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge freezer.

There is a large tiled bathroom upstairs, and a double sized shower room downstairs.

If you enjoy walking or cycling, the cottage provides the perfect base for rambling in the Mendips or discovering the magical wetland landscape of the Somerset levels with its unique wildlife.

After a busy day exploring our beautiful area, curl up and relax in front of the log fire, or enjoy a BBQ on a fine summer’s evening on the large private patio and unwind with a glass of wine on the raised private garden with its stunning views overlooking the Mendip hills.

For those who prefer to dine out we have three traditional country pubs within 15 mins walking distance, each offering a wide range of fare.

Self Catering lets are usually weekly, but short term lets are available, especially outside the peak holiday season.

Please note that Honeysuckle Cottage is strictly a non-smoking cottage.

Wells (approx. 2 miles) has 4 major supermarkets to provide all the daily essentials.
